🔥 Sweeping a pellet stove
A pellet stove is a bit like an engine: it needs air, cleanliness and a clear flue to work properly. My role is to ensure the sweeping and complete cleaning of the appliance and flue pipe - but not maintenance in the legal sense of the term, which must be carried out by a authorised brand technician.
🕒 1. Arrival and preparation
I'll arrive at the appointed time (or to the nearest Breton minute 😉 ) and together we'll take stock of how your stove is working at the moment: unusual noise, slow ignition, glass that's clogging up too quickly... any clue will help me focus the diagnosis.
I'm protecting the floor and the stove with suitable tarpaulins, and I'm plugging in my professional hoover. Please bring a electrical socket nearby for suction and control equipment.
🧰 2. Dismantling and cleaning the inside of the stove
I proceed to the dismantling the internal parts of the fireplace : deflector, crucible, access hatches, heat exchanger, protective plates, etc.
Each part is carefully dusted and cleaned, including areas where smoke circulates. Particular care is taken with the’smoke extractor, This is essential for safety and the circulation of goods.
🌀 3. Mechanical rotary chimney sweep
The flue is then cleaned by mechanical rotary sweeping. This method, both more powerful and softer, It uses a motorised system with flexible brushes rotating at a controlled speed. It provides in-depth cleaning of soot and light bistre, without damaging the casing.
This is a mini-debrisking suitable for pellet stove flues: precise, efficient and gentle on the equipment.
🎥 4. Checking and verification
Once the duct has been cleaned, I proceed with a camera control to check that it is empty and detect any anomalies (blockage, bistre, faulty seals, cracks, etc.). From photos are taken to document the state of the installation.
📋 5. Audit and certificate
I'll end with a full visual audit the installation: air intake, connection, visible flue, roof outlet (viewed by drone if necessary). All the information and photos are included in a digital chimney sweeping certificate which you will receive by e-mail within a few hours.

This service only concerns the sweeping and cleaning the stove. L’full annual maintenance (checking electrical components, the electronic board, sensors, etc.) must be carried out by a qualified electrician. authorised brand technician of your device.
💶 Service charge
The sweeping a pellet stove is :
169 € INCL. VAT
This fee includes the dismantling and cleaning of the fireplace components, removal of dust from the extractor, rotary sweeping of the flue, camera inspection, visual audit and electronic transmission of the sweeping certificate.
🔥 Chimney Sweep Tip:
Run your stove for about ten minutes after my visit, in fan-only mode, to evacuate the last of the internal dust. And remember: a clean stove breathes and uses fewer pellets.
