The result is a slow, even burn with high performance.

🔍 How do you recognise a quality compressed log?

- A humidity level indicated on packaging (less than 12 %) ;
- A composition 100 % hardwood (oak, beech, hornbeam) ;
- A smooth, dense surface, no cracks; ;
- Each log weighs around 1.5 kg for optimum density.
👉 Tip: to check quality, weigh the log and observe how it burns. A quality log should ignite easily and burn slowly, without excessive smoke.
📦 Storage advice
- Store in an area dry and ventilated ;
- Avoid direct contact with the ground (on pallets);
- Protect from humidity; ;
- Keep in its original packaging if possible.
These precautions guarantee perfect preservation and rapid ignition even after several months' storage.
💡 Good to know: ecological impact
Densified wood is a eco-responsible product made from recycled sawmill waste. It has a much smaller carbon footprint than electric or oil-fired heating. It is fully in line with ADEME recommendations in favour of the energy transition and sustainable wood energy.
