3D photogrammetry of ducts - a new vision of the invisible
Currently in the development phase, this innovative process is based on the photogrammetry This involves reconstructing the inside of a pipe in three dimensions using video footage captured during the inspection.
This 3D modelling will enable :
- from visualise the complete geometry of the duct angles, deviations, changes in cross-section ;
- d’assess areas of constraint or structural weakness ;
- from keeping a digital twin of the conduit for monitoring over time ;
- d’improve the traceability of operations and transparency vis-à-vis customers and insurers.
